Women and real estate. Such and important topic!
I am starting this blog for several reasons. Some are personal and some are professional. Among the personal ones is the hope to improve the position of women in the real estate industry. This desire stems from personal experience and the conviction that better gender balance and inclusion is beneficial for the industry and for women themselves. There is also a strong drive for fairness and a belief that discrimination leads to wasted potential and lost opportunities. Having worked in the finance world for over 15 years, and having reoriented to real estate in the last few years, I realised that gender balance in real estate is even worse than in the financial sector. The goal of this blog is not to divide but to find a constructive and organic way for women to thrive and contribute. Stay tuned!
